Over the last 2 years, I haven't done a lot of newborn photo shoots.  Recently, I decided that it was time to snuggle up on the adorableness that newborns are.  Meet Addison!  Isn't she the most adorable and loved little girl ever!

Bun in the Oven

Every soon-to-be mom wants to have the best photos to remember the wonderful time that pregnancy can be.  This mommy wanted just that!  With her love for the classic vintage look and her light fun attitude, we were able to put together the perfect session!!

The first part is all about getting ready.  Isn't she beautiful and glowing in these images!

After our mom got ready for the day, she was ready to start showing off her Bun in the Oven.  What better way to cook up a new baby girl than to mix the perfect ingredients.  All you need to do is find the perfect recipe on "How to Grow a Baby Girl" and than combined a little bit of love, stir it up, and give it some warmth...

And than Viola!!!  You have the perfect little loved one!  Stay tuned to see how this wonderful recipe turn out!! :)

Addiction to photography!

It's like a serious addiction!! And I can't, I wont, and I don't want to stop it!! All I want to do is take pictures, and when I'm not taking pictures, I want to edit pictures. AND when I'm not editing or taking pictures I want to talk about editing and taking pictures. Yup, I have a serious addiction and there is no cure for it, EXCEPT to let me take your picture!! ;-)

You see, I figured out the other day how bad it was. Now some of you know I am in school for an accounting degree so that I can go work a "big girl job" as I like to call it. On Tuesday this week, I had an interview with the Bureau of Audits, Depart of Revenue... sounds so official....for a paid internship position. Now, before photography came into my life, this was a dream position. Then I met my camera!! And ohh what a beautiful camera it is!!! :-)

During the whole interview, I kept thinking about going home and editing shots from my 1 year old session a couple of days before. I was thinking what other looks I should try out and give the mommy!! My mind kept wandering and I had to continue to remind myself to pay attention with this man that could hold my "big girl fate" in his future!!

The funny thing is, I found out, because I can't stop talking about it, that he is into photography!!! Film, he didn't care too much for digital. But HOW COOL IS THAT!!! It's my two passions for life wrapped into one...photography and numbers!! Wow I'm a nerd!

So we talked about Ansel Adams (he had a photo of his on his wall) and we talked about Iphoneography (yes this really is a form of portraiture, strange, I know. Apple is taking over the world) An hour and half later, I walked out of his office confident that my addiction for photography helped me get this job. I'm still waiting to hear back, they said a couple weeks, so I'll let you know what happens!!
